Recreational Level System
We are excited to introduce an updated Level System for our recreational programs—designed to better support each athlete’s development, engagement, and long-term success.
This new system reflects our commitment to providing high-quality programming that meets athletes where they are, while also giving them clear pathways for growth.
What is the New Level System?
Our program is now structured across six key areas of development:
● Trampoline
● Tumbling
● Ninja
● Recreational Skills
● Fitness & Flexibility
● Gym Etiquette
Each area plays an important role in building well-rounded athletes—not only in their physical abilities, but also in their confidence, focus, and respect within the training environment.
How the Levels Work
● Athletes progress through 12 levels in all areas, with the exception of Gym Etiquette, which has 4 levels.
● Levels are grouped into stages:
○ Levels 1–4: Introductory
○ Levels 5–8: Intermediate
○ Levels 9–12: Advanced
One of the key benefits of this system is flexibility: Athletes are able to progress independently in each area. This means they can continue advancing where they are excelling, while still developing skills in other areas at their own pace.
Assessment & Progress Tracking
● To successfully complete a technical level (Trampoline, Tumbling, Ninja, Recreational), athletes must demonstrate 7–9 required skills.
● To successfully complete Fitness & Flexibility, athletes must demonstrate 5–6 required skills.
Progression pathways will be updated throughout each session and maintained on file to track long-term development. These records will be kept until athletes have fully progressed through or outgrown the program.
Reporting & Communication Updates
● Athletes will no longer receive a full report card. Instead, they will receive a certificate indicating their highest completed level.
● A detailed PDF of your athlete’s full skill progression is available at any time upon request.
This approach allows us to streamline communication while still ensuring full transparency and access to detailed progress when desired.
Why We Made This Change
This system was thoughtfully developed by our coaching team, which brings together over 80 years of combined coaching experience. Our goal was to create a structure that:
● Better reflects individual athlete development
● Encourages confidence and motivation
● Provides clearer progression pathways
● Supports long-term success in sport and physical literacy
What This Means for Your Athlete
You may notice your athlete working at different levels across different areas—and that’s exactly the intention. This approach allows us to personalize development and ensure every athlete is both challenged and supported.
Our coaches will continue to guide athletes through their progression and communicate updates along the way.
We are incredibly excited about the opportunities this new system brings and look forward to continuing to support your athlete’s journey.
